Do you ever look through your travel photos and find some super random ones in there?
Sometimes I spot paraphernalia in foreign countries that I’m not interested in buying… but am amused enough to snap a pic! If you’ve been hoping to spend the night with Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie, these pillows (from the outdoor market in Helsinki) might be for you:
I’ve seen llamas, snakes, and birds on the sidewalks, but St. Petersburg outdid all of that with this animal below:
Is it even safe to own a bear?! Ohmigod.
While we’re on the topic of interesting things in St. Petersburg, Kimmy and I walked behind these twins and couldn’t stop staring. They were mirror images of each other! Isn’t dressing alike cute only ’til about 7 years old?
At Peter and Paul Fortress, we spotted the sign below. It might have been easier to just tell us what we are allowed to do.
If you’ve ever wanted to be the King of the (porcelain) Throne, you might like what we spotted at a Russian restaurant:
The ultimate in randomness, however, probably goes to this duo which we spotted in Tallinn, Estonia. I still have no idea what Shrek has to do with Estonia, but Kimmy did say Tallinn reminded her of an amusement park (case in point below):
Jurmala, a seaside resort town in Lativa, is the spa capital of the Baltic, and anyone who is anyone heads there for the weekend… and apparently aren’t shy about showing it all at any age!
And finally, when Kimmy and I travel together, we swap photos every night. Sometimes her photos just make me laugh. These two were taken while walking through Helsinki:
On that note, I’m speechless now.
