I keep meaning to write a post about how much I absolutely adored Latvia, but I’ve got so much going on right now (and a much needed real vacation coming up!) that I just haven’t gotten around to it. Sigh. In the meantime, I find myself going back and looking through all my Latvia pics and loving how the pics let me relive my time there! So, I couldn’t resist – I had to share one more.
This pic is from the most picturesque little town ever, Kuldiga. I thought it was so darn cute even though I saw it on a rainy day. Just imagine how gorge it would have been had it been blue skies, too!

Never been there but would love to go…cus you keeping recommending people !!!! ahahahahha Really why? Sometimes it’s weird some one love and hate the places:)
Cheers:)
Tammy – if you go to Latvia, let me know! I went there alone and I actually thought Riga was charming and totally walkable… but I ventured outside of Riga and just fell in love with the cities outside of Riga. I especially loved that there weren’t that many tourists that went out there too so it was so uncrowded! I will need to write my post about Latvia at some time – I just haven’t figured out how I want to divvy up the posts yet! Then, you can tell me if you want to go still. 🙂
This is story-book cute! Old European village houses often have such charm. (Until you have to live in them 😉 and can barely turn around in them and keep hitting your head on low ceilings and door frames.)
LOL – good point! I love the way old European villages look — it’s a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there!
